Virtual University Grading Scheme
Virtual University follows the relative marking scheme in its grading scheme. In this method, a student’s performance is compared to the performance of their peers in the same group or class, rather than based on predetermined standards.
This method can help to determine the student’s position or rank within the group, reflecting their performance relative to others. The grades are often expressed in percentiles, reflecting the student’s position relative to others in the group. For example, if a student’s score falls in the 90th percentile, it signifies that they have performed better than 90% of other students.
It can also help identify top performers of the batch based on their relative performance.
