The 13th Convocation of Islamabad is scheduled to take place in the Jinnah Convention Centre, located on Club Road in Islamabad, on Tuesday, December 19, 2023, at 8:30 a.m.

Invitation letters are being sent to all registered graduates of the 13th Convocation Islamabad in connection with this.
Please be aware that only cardholders are permitted admission into the facility. As a result, you need to print copies of your invitations, which are the guest and student entry cards. The only guests who can enter are those whose details are listed on the card or cards.

Instructions:
- Entry Restricted to Invitees: No on-spot registration will be allowed. Only Registered persons will be allowed to enter the convocation hall.Children will not be allowed inside the convocation hall.
- Guests: Only one guest will be allowed whose details are mentioned on the Guest card. Change of Guest is not permitted in any case.
- Prohibited Items: Mobile phones/Cameras/Electronic gadgets, Handbags, etc. are strictly not allowed and must be submitted at the collection counters outside before entering the convocation hall. VU will not take any responsibility.
- Identification Requirements: Original CNIC and Invitation card(s) are a must for entrance. You must also bring two copies of your CNIC. One is to be submitted at the Registration desk and the other one will be required for degree collection in case you have not collected your degree earlier.
- Attire Rental: Gown/Hat/Hood shall be available on a rental basis i.e., 400/- and on submission of refundable security. Rs.1500/-
- Photography: Professional photographer(s) have been arranged; if you avail of their services, you have to bear the cost of these pictures.
- Food Policy: Eatables are strictly not allowed in the convocation hall.
- Weapons Policy: Weapons / Escorts are strictly not allowed.
- Vehicle Restrictions: Cars with CNG kits are not allowed to enter the venue premises.
Convocation Decorum for Graduates:
- You must wear a Gown, Hood, and Cap with a tassel on the left side always.
- Please stand up on your seats when the Academic Procession enters the Convocation Hall and remain standing till the National Anthem is played.
- Please also stand up When Academic Procession departs the Convocation Hall.
- During the conferment of degrees, respective graduates must rise when their degree programs/batches are announced.
Instructions For Distinction Holders For Receiving Honors On Stage
- (Important!!!) You must register at the defined Registration Area and inform the Ushers that are Distinction Holders.
- Ushers will guide you to your designated seating area.
- Ushers will form a queue to move towards the stage. Please follow the given instructions.
- Upon hearing the announcement of your name, you will then walk across the stage, and receive your Awards/honors from the Chief Guest/Rector.
- While receiving your honors on stage, still/video photography will take place.
- Step down from the stage and follow the Usher back to your seat.
