Diploma in Education
The Diploma in Education program is structured to provide comprehensive training to individuals who aspire to become teachers or are already working in schools. Objectives
- Introduce teachers to different learning models, enabling them to incorporate a constructive teaching approach in their classrooms.

- Introduce different pedagogical approaches for teaching a range of subjects in elementary schools.
Eligibility
Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree from a recognized university or institute with a minimum of 45% marks or a CGPA of 2.00 out of 4. Those with less than 45% marks can gain admission after successfully completing the zero semester.

Duration
The course is designed to be completed over one year with two-semester, each semester has at least 18 weeks.

Assessment of Study Progress
The evaluation of students’ academic progress is based on continuous assessment throughout the semester, including assignments, online quizzes, Graded Discussion Boards (GDBs), and mid-term and final-term exams. The mid and final-term exams are conducted at VU’s designated exam centers and typically account for 80-85% of the total marks for a course.
Award of Diploma
In order to receive the Diploma in Education, students must complete a minimum of two semesters of coursework, consisting of at least 31 credit hours, and achieve a minimum CGPA of 2.00 out of 4.
