Eligibility
- Applicants must possess a bachelor’s degree (BA/BSc/ADP) or equivalent qualification from an HEC-recognized university/institution, and a minimum of 45% marks or a CGPA of 2.00 out of 4.
- Candidates with less than 45% marks can be admitted after completing the “Zero Semester“.
Course exemption is not allowed for this program.
Degree Duration
The program is structured as a one-year course, comprising two semesters with each semester having a duration of 18 weeks. Each semester consists of five courses.

Assessment of Study Progress
The evaluation of student’s academic progress is based on continuous assessment throughout the semester, including assignments, online quizzes, Graded Discussion Boards (GDBs), and mid-term and final term exams. The mid and final-term exams are conducted at VU’s designated exam centers and typically account for 80-85% of the total marks for a course.
Award of Diploma
To receive the Diploma in Diploma in Banking & Finance, students must complete a minimum of two semesters of coursework, consisting of at least 36 credit hours, and achieve a minimum CGPA of 2.00 out of 4.
