BS Public Administration

The Bachelor of Science program in Public Administration is specifically designed to meet the unique needs of the public sector. It provides a well-rounded education that includes both a liberal arts education through the University’s Core Curriculum, as well as specialized knowledge in the areas of public services, politics, economics, and social issues.

One of the primary goals of the program is to provide students with a strong liberal arts foundation, which is essential for success in any field. This foundation includes courses in a variety of disciplines, such as literature, history, philosophy, and mathematics, and helps students develop critical thinking, communication, and analytical skills.

BS Public Administration

Another important goal of the program is to ensure that students have a thorough understanding and appreciation of the political, social, and economic aspects of public services. By gaining a deep understanding of these issues, students are better prepared to analyze and address the complex challenges facing the public sector.

Finally, the Bachelor of Science program in Public Administration is designed to prepare students for entry and middle-level professional positions in the public sector. This includes positions in government agencies, non-profit organizations, and other public service organizations. Students learn practical skills such as budgeting, strategic planning, program evaluation, and leadership, which are essential for success in these roles.
